Just months after “Jersey Shore” star Roger Mathews vowed to win over wife Jenni “JWoww” Farley following a divorce filing, the dad says she’s been granted a restraining order against him.
The two were married since 2015 and had two children together, 4-year-old Meilani and 2-year-old Greyson.
But after a fight on Thursday, Mathews says he’s being kept from seeing them.
Over a series of ten videos posted to Instagram, Mathews explained that he got into an argument with JWoww that involved their daughter.
He captioned one video:
This is the level my ex-wife takes it to after telling my kids their dad is a piece of s**t and she’s sorry she ever had children with him. She gets so emotional and irrational in her anger this is the level she brings it too.
Mathews claimed that he was escorted out of the house by officers at 2 a.m. after JWoww filed a restraining order.
Some of the videos were taken from the back of a police car, though he wasn’t arrested.
The reality star later explained that he has been unable to see his children since he was removed from the house by police.
He told his Instagram followers:
“I’m not allowed to speak to my children, not allowed to go get clothes, not allowed to step foot in the house that I’ve lived in for eight years. I miss my kids, man.”
JWoww responded to his Instagram tirade with a lengthy statement of her own on the platform.
It stated that the mom of two contacted authorities “as she felt it was in her best interests, and the best interests of her children to do so.”
She also clarified that a judge granted her a temporary order of protection.
The statement didn’t call out Mathews directly but said that social media posts about the incident were meant to “cast Jenni in a negative light.”
According to E! News, Mathews was angered by the statement because he thought it implied that he put his children in harm’s way. He called the accusation “mind-blowing.”
As of now, it’s unclear when Mathews will be able to see his children again.
