In the world of movie stars and celebrities, it’s easy to believe that famous people get virtually everything they want. From obnoxious dressing room requests to free designer gowns, Hollywood’s elite definitely don’t share the same struggles as the average Joe.
That is, apart from one thing: dating.
Sure, sexy leading actors and gorgeous pop stars might garner a little more attention from the opposite sex, but that doesn’t mean they don’t still get rejected.
In fact, sometimes their rejections are even more embarrassing…
At least, it is in Justin Bieber’s case.
Twenty-two-year-old Jessica Gober, who works at a Savannah, Georgia gym, was asked to take control of the gym’s social media accounts in order to heighten its online presence.
But after posting a photo of herself to the gym’s Instagram account — which, at the time, had fewer than 100 followers — she received a very unexpected direct message — and it wasn’t from a local resident looking to get in shape…

Instead, it was a private message from Justin Bieber asking who “the girl” was in the recent photo. Gober couldn’t believe that the Justin Bieber not only found her gym’s account on social media, but that he actually reached out to get in contact.
So, naturally, she took a screenshot and posted the messages to her own Twitter account:
Did this actually just happen… lmao
Justin Bieber just messaged the gym that I work at and asked who I was hahahaha WTF pic.twitter.com/mktcdB1iDP— Jessi (@jessicagober) August 9, 2017
She wrote alongside the screenshots:
“Did this actually just happen … [laughing my a** off] Justin Bieber just messaged the gym that I work at and asked who I was … [what the f**k].”
It wasn’t long before her tweet went viral, garnering over 64,000 likes and 12,000 retweets. But people had mixed reactions to Gober’s post. Some felt it was mean-spirited and rude:
I'm telling you. She'll look back on this and hate herself for posting on twitter. Nonsense ?

I mean I hate Justin Bieber. But why post this unless you want the attention that comes with it? ??.. that's all you've done it for.

Better keep in secret what he said. I don’t care which girls Justin will date, but please respect and protect him of all cost @justinbieber

However, some people were living for her reaction:

Despite the messages insisting she respond back to the pop star, Gober made her intentions clear:
I've got everything I need right here ? pic.twitter.com/mET9XXkM8d

Although millions of women would swoon if Justin Bieber ever reached out to them, it’s clear Gober has one man on her mind and, unfortunately for the singer, it doesn’t look like her mind will change anytime soon.
