On August 23, news broke that Kate Gosselin was escorted off private property after getting into an altercation with her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, and one of their 13-year-old daughters.

Now, Jon’s lawyer is coming forward to say the father is ready to do whatever it takes to protect his children.

According to earlier reports, on August 15, the three-hour showdown between Kate, Jon, and daughter Hannah not only led to Kate being escorted away by the police, but Hannah was also put into an ambulance because of an arm injury.

Footage of the altercation allegedly showed Kate attempting to pull the teen out of Jon’s vehicle, but Hannah violently resisting.

Hannah allegedly screamed, “No! Stop, please stop! Let go of me, Mommy,” as Kate tried to “pull her” out of the vehicle.

As In Touch first reported, the altercation came just four days after a judge reportedly granted Jon “equal” custody over Hannah in an emergency hearing Jon had requested.

Now, Jon’s lawyer, Kristen Doleva-Lecher, is coming forward to say that this isn’t the first time an altercation has taken place. Doleva-Lecher told E! News exclusively that as a result, Jon is ready to “do what is right” for his family.

She explained:

“It should be known Jon has been aggressively and relentlessly fighting for his kids. Jon is frustrated by recent events but will not be derailed in his efforts to do what is right.”

It was revealed last year that Kate had made the decision to send one of the sextuplets, Collin, to a special school. It was reported at that time that Collin and sister Alexis were the two children who took their parents’ 2009 divorce the hardest.

Reports claimed that as a result of Kate and Jon’s divorce, Collin and Alexis began acting out in school. They were eventually asked to leave when the school felt it couldn’t “meet their needs anymore.”

Now, it’s alleged that Hannah is the one “uncomfortable” with her current living situation. As E! News reports:

In 2015, Jon filed for full custody of their daughter Hannah, because as a source described, “She is unhappy and uncomfortable in the house with Kate Gosselin.”

Apparently, Hannah isn’t the only child who is taking the constantly changing custody agreements hard.

An insider told E!:

“The custody situation has been changing over the past month and it’s been very hard on the kids.”

This is now the second time Kate’s name has been lumped with child abuse claims. Last year, when the world learned Kate sent Collin away to an institution, Jon alleged that law enforcement told him a different story, which resulted in Kate being investigated by child services.

However, as she told “Good Morning America,” claims of her abusing her children have been unfounded, “obviously.”
