Jessie J responded to her fan base after the singer’s infertility confession sparked unexpected backlash.

As previously reported by Dearly, on Wednesday the British artist shared her fertility struggles with an audience during a concert in London. She explained that four years ago, she was told by doctors that she wouldn’t be able to have children.

And her fan base’s reaction was strong.

Since then, some accused the 30-year-old of sharing “TMI.”

On Saturday, Jessie addressed the controversial reveal in an Instagram story, according to E! News. She wrote:

I was told 4 years ago I won’t be able to have children. I was also told I would need a hysterectomy immediately and to be put on medication.

However, she “refused” the medical procedure. She continued:

I’m off all medication through natural medicine and diet change.

I haven’t given up hope. I am doing all I can to make it happen the best way my body will allow.

“The Voice” judge, who has recently started dating actor Channing Tatum, also told fans in another subsequent message that she’s not giving up on motherhood. She wrote:

I will be a mother. As will you. I believe in miracles. But if it doesn’t happen naturally. Then that wasn’t meant to be the journey. But a mother is within all of us. That inspires everyday. We are strong! Time will tell.

Jessie later commented on comparisons fans have made about her resemblance to Tatum’s ex-wife, Jenna Dewan.

She wrote:

There is a story I have seen be re written over and over again in the past few weeks that talks about myself being compared directly to another beautiful woman regarding our looks and people picking who they think is prettier.

The artist said it was deliberately wrong and mean-spirited for people to pit her boyfriend’s ex  against his new partner after one fan wrote on Instagram:

FIRST OF ALL…. Whenever I hear of the ‘striking resemblance’ w/ Jessie J to Jenna Dewan.. my only thoughts are ummmmm no, not even close …

However, Dewan responded with a post of her own to shut down the look-alike gossip.

She praised her ex’s new girlfriend for shutting down the negativity with “positive vibes.”
