Country singer Jesse James Decker is expecting her third child with husband, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Eric Decker, in March. But in a recent picture on social media, Decker asked why she looked like she was ready to give birth in a few short weeks.

As People reports, Decker, 29, showed off her pregnancy bump on Instagram, telling fans she had just started week 28 of pregnancy: “Starting week 28!” she wrote in the caption.

Decker then asked: “Can someone please tell me why I look 38 weeks pregnant??”

At 28 weeks, Decker is beginning her third trimester; yet, the mother of two pointed out her stomach appeared to be closer to the end.

Many fans were quick to attribute the size of Decker’s bump to it being her third pregnancy. As one commenter wrote: “Must be a third pregnancy thing. I’m right there with ya!” Another joked: “Third baby lol. By the end of my third pregnancy I looked about 50 weeks pregnant.”

According to Kidspot, it’s impossible to tell how far along a woman is in her pregnancy by looking at her baby bump. Only an examination by a doctor can make that determination. However, there are several factors that influence the size of a woman’s bump: height and weight, whether it’s the first or subsequent baby, the position of the baby, and if the pregnancy is a multiple.

Babble reports if a woman is tall and has good muscle tone it’s likely she will carry her bump high and wide. Shorter women, on the other hand, will likely have a more noticeable bump.

Decker has given fans an honest look at pregnant life, even sharing the not-so-glamorous moments. As she captioned one photo: “Feeling huge, tired, and craving more coffee and attention from hubby. I did fix my hair after 5 greasy hair days so that’s good.”

In her Instagram post, Decker went on to praise her younger sister, Sydney Rae Bass, for giving birth to a baby at the same number of weeks Decker took her pregnancy snap:

Side note (can’t believe my baby sister @sydneyraeface had baby Brookie at this point in her pregnancy. Makes me so proud and even more amazed at what a strong woman my sister is and how brave she was for her sweet preemie baby girl. God chose her to be Brookies mama for a reason. God bless those mamas who had their babies this early ?? I have a soft spot in my heart for those families even more now.

Decker’s younger sister gave birth to a baby girl at 28 weeks via emergency C-section, People reports.

The birth of Decker’s third child follows three-year-old Vivianne “Vivi” Rose and two-year-old Eric “Bubby” Thomas Jr. Decker has previously said she and husband Eric “parent so well” together. She told People: “I could not have picked a better partner to have kids with.”
