Actress Jennifer Garner may have just been crowned People’s “Most Beautiful Woman” of the year, but the mother of three is still as relatable as ever.

The 47-year-old, who has three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck, told the lifestyle magazine that she’s gearing up to celebrate Mother’s Day with her little ones.

And they plan to keep up with a yearly tradition that went from cute to funny as Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7, got bigger.

Garner explained to People:

“All my kids sit on my lap every Mother’s Day [for a photo]. It used to be that [the kids] could fit, and now we just have to stack them and it’s a disaster.”

The “Peppermint” star said she has no plans to end the tradition — even when her kids are full-grown adults. She said:

“They’re like, ‘Mom when we’re 24, 21 and 18, we are sitting on your lap.’ And I’m like, ‘Great, I’ll keep my bone density up. That’s my part in this equation.'”

And this isn’t the first time the star has had a hard time watching her kids grow older.

Earlier this year, Affleck said his ex-wife was “devastated” when their youngest didn’t like the costume she put on for his birthday party.

Garner later shared a photo with the caption:

Well, guess what. It turns out 7 is the age my kid stops thinking it’s cool when I dress up for the party.

Though Garner said her kids may think of her as uncool, it seems clear that they have a strong family bond.
