Jenelle Evans is thrilled after regaining custody of her two youngest children.

The former “Teen Mom 2” star lost custody of her kids — 9-year-old Jace, 5-year-old Kaiser, and 2-year-old Ensley — last month after her husband allegedly killed her dog.

A judge decided that Jenelle and her husband, David Eason, would have to undergo drug testing and parenting classes before getting their kids back.

On Wednesday, the couple regained custody of Kaiser and Ensley. Jenelle confirmed to People:

“I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids back!”

She added:

“Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.”

Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, is maintaining custody of her oldest child, Jace.

The judge made the initial decision to remove the children from the home after Jenelle said Eason shot and killed her dog, Nugget, for nipping at their toddler.

He allegedly took the dog out to the woods near their home, but the children we in their care at the time.

Jenelle said she was considering divorce after the incident.

The couple did not appear happy that Barbara was caring for their two children while they didn’t have custody.

They called police on Jenelle’s mother at least twice.

The 28-year-old explained that the most recent time was when Barbara allegedly locked Ensley in a room so that she could have a few minutes to take a shower.

It’s unclear why the reality star didn’t get back custody of all her children this week.
