Former “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans said she was considering a divorce from her husband in May. But now, the 28-year-old says they’re stronger than ever.

Their relationship became rocky in late April after husband David Eason allegedly shot and killed her French bulldog for nipping at their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley.

Jenelle was so distraught after the incident that she publicly stated she may leave her husband. At the time, she said:

“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids. (Divorce is) in thoughts, but nothing is finalized.”

The couple also lost custody of their three children after a judge deemed them to be a possible danger.

Now, the duo has regained custody of two children and are doing better than ever, Jenelle said.

The reality star had a question and answer session on her Instagram story, where she stated that she and her husband have a strong relationship, Entertainment Tonight reports.

She wrote:

Honestly, yes, we were on bad terms for almost a week. Didn’t talk much. He knows how upset it made me. Now that we are getting over this incident our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well.

Jenelle added that her husband has “completed anger management.”

The mom also gave an update about her 9-year-old son, Jace, who remains in her mother’s custody.

Jenelle told fans:

Everything and everyone is doing great. We are super grateful and happy. Jace will live with us full time soon but not now.

The mom was fired from “Teen Mom 2” amid the dog shooting controversy, but said on her Instagram story that she’s been “documenting [her] experience through all of this.”

She said that she’d share it with fans “soon.”
