Last month, “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans landed in hot water after MTV aired footage of her pulling a gun during a road rage incident.
Now, her mother is concerned for her.
As Dearly previously reported, Evans’ 8-year-old son, Jace, was sitting in the front seat of the car when another driver “break-checked” them.
The reality star was infuriated and followed the driver down his driveway before pulling out her weapon. Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
After the incident, Jace called his grandmother, Barbara, and told her that his mom pointed a gun while he was in the car.
When they got back to Barbara’s home, Jenelle accused her son of lying. She said:
“Why are you telling her I pulled a gun out on him? I did not do that.”
But on Monday’s “Teen Mom 2” reunion episode, Barabara said she learned the truth just a day later, Yahoo Lifestyle reports.
She told Dr. Drew Pinsky:
“Jace was in the front seat! And she told me that Jace made it all up, until the next day I found out the truth and I almost, I almost literally threw up in my kitchen.”
She said that her daughter’s actions have made her deeply concerned:
“No, I don’t feel Jenelle’s OK. I’m just so, so, so worried about Jenelle. … This is different.”
The grandmother also opened up about being at odds with her daughter’s husband, David Eason, who she described as “the meanest person” she’s met.
She said that she’s concerned for her own life and claimed that he was violent, Us Weekly reports. Barbara told Dr. Drew:
“It scares me. He could come over and kill me any time.”
Jenelle didn’t attend the reunion after disputes with the show’s producers, so she didn’t respond to the comments.
It’s unclear if Child Protective Services investigated after the road rage incident.
