It’s been a year of ups and downs for “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans.

The 25-year-old has been in an intense custody battle over her second son, Kaiser, after drug tests revealed her newborn daughter tested positive for marijuana.

Despite the custody chaos, the reality star recently tied the knot to her third baby daddy, David Eason, at a quiet ceremony in North Carolina. However, she opted not to invite her family as a result of the legal battles.

Most of the drama was captured on camera for “Teen Mom 2,” but fans may not get to watch the mother of three’s hectic life for much longer, according to People.

On Tuesday, Evans revealed she wants to leave the show because MTV treats her family like a “freak show.” She slammed the show and its producers in a scathing Instagram post:

I have decided after this season I’m probably calling it quits for filming this show. I told Morgan it’s getting to out of hand and it’s not healthy for us anymore, just harming us mentally. They treat all of us as if we are in a freak show and in cages. WE aren’t human beings to MTV what-so-ever.

The reality star was upset with how the show depicted an argument between her and her new husband in the latest episode, and she said it didn’t paint the full picture.

She wrote:

Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterday’s episode was uncalled for. Because David didn’t feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird ass shit from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?!

In a separate post, Evans explained that she was also upset with the producer’s decision to add subtitles when her son was speaking in the episode. Apparently, he is currently undergoing speech therapy.

As a result of the fallout, Evans said she has blocked all of her producers’ numbers and will be taking a hiatus from social media.

Only time will tell if she’ll actually stick to her decision to quit “Teen Mom 2” for good.
