There may be more than a possible divorce in the cards for Jenelle Evans’ husband after he shot and killed her beloved French Bulldog for biting their child.

“Teen Mom 2” star David Eason is now allegedly now under investigation by North Carolina authorities for animal cruelty after admitting he killed the dog to protect his daughter, Ensley.

According to TMZ, local police and Animal Control said they initiated a joint investigation into animal cruelty against David.

They are currently trying to confirm if the animal is dead and if the family has the corpse before proceeding.

TMZ reports that Animal Control attempted to go to the property on May 2 but turned back after seeing a pit bull and “No Trespassing” signs.

Columbus County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement to People:

“On May 1, 2019, Columbus County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus County Animal Control initiated a joint investigation into allegations of animal cruelty that reportedly occurred at a residence on Money Hole Road in Riegelwood. The investigation is ongoing. No further details will be released at this time to preserve the integrity of the investigation.”

In a now-deleted Instagram post, David shared a video of the dog snapping at his 2-year-old daughter after she got near the animal’s face, Dearly reported. He wrote:

I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s**t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.

TMZ reports that the father slammed the dog on the back deck before taking the animal to the woods where he shot it to death.

Jenelle said she was “distraught” over the incident and was considering divorce. Though she clarified that “nothing is finalized.”

David isn’t facing any charges as of now.

He’s a POS> Let’s slam him off of a deck and take him out to the woods and shoot him. He needs to learn to groom himself. He must be a real upstanding member of society. LOSER>

SOME DOGS ARE SUBJECT TO SNIPPING ITS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP AWAY FROM THERE FACE THIS IS A GIVEN THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN GET IN A DOGS FACE IS ITS NUMBER ONE HUMAN LIL CHILDREN NEED TO BE CAREFUL SMALL DOGS ARE DIFFERENT BUT THE DOG DID NOT DESERVE TO BE KILLED OTHER STEPS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN SO YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH REACTING THE WAY YOU DID.

I would have done the same if a dog bit my child because it’s a dog and my child is a human child.

He is an SOB . She should get the divorce. If he shoots the family pet, will she be next? I had a pit who was the most loving dog, who would have given his life for me. Maybe the ass was afraid of it. What kind of abuser is he?
