“Married at First Sight” star Jamie Otis is remaining hopeful when it comes to her chances of having a second child.
As Dearly reported, after announcing she and her husband Doug Hehner were pregnant with their first child in July of 2016, Jamie miscarried their son after only four months. Despite this devastating loss, the two welcomed their daughter, Henley Grace, in August 2017.
In the months following Henley’s birth, Jamie suffered a chemical pregnancy at the beginning of 2018, Dearly reports.
Very Well Family defines a chemical pregnancy as a word “used to describe a very early miscarriage which occurs before the fifth week of gestation and well before the fetus can be visibly detected on an ultrasound.”
On December 26, 2018, Jamie announced she was pregnant again.
However, after just 10 weeks Jamie experienced a “failed miscarriage.” In this case, she shared the “baby formed and there was an amniotic sac, but while the amniotic sac continued to grow the baby stopped at some point.”
Now the reality star says she’s been feeling stress and anxiety as she and her husband attempt to expand their family again, US Weekly reports.
In a video posted to her Instagram story, she said:
“Not gonna lie: I have been so stressed and anxious. I don’t know. I’m just so stressed. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’m a happy girl. I’m a very happy person. And it’s spring, and I should be happy. I have the best husband and the most amazing daughter, and I believe we will be pregnant again soon.”
Further, Jamie previously shared with US Weekly that she and Doug use a fertility mobile app so they can know when’s a good time to try for their next little one.
