A Washington woman is extremely appreciative of her “Christmas angel,” after being reunited with her once missing wedding ring.
As Today reports, JoAnn Johnson said that she and her husband had been shopping for an Instant Pot at a Port Orchard Walmart when she’d lost her ring. Johnson believes when she and her husband opened up one of the smaller Instant Pots that weren’t on display the ring slipped off.
As Today reports, she noticed her ring was missing about 15 minutes later and after a thorough search they came up empty-handed.
Johnson says she’d informed customer service and posted to a local Facebook page, but had no luck.
She said she’d “totally given up hope of ever finding it.”
That’s until Shiloah Avery posted on Facebook saying that she’d found an extra gift inside her Instant Pot on Christmas morning.

She captioned her Insta Pot photo with the following:
I was gifted an instant pot for Christmas, in the bottom of the packaging was a WEDDING RING ?(not mine) I called the company and placed a service ticket to try and return the ring but why not use the power of social media for good!? Help spread this post. I would love to return the ring to the owner. ❤ Purchased from Port Orchard Walmart.
Today reports that by Christmas evening, Johnson had come across Avery’s post and commented that she’d recently lost weight and that she believed the ring she found was hers.
Avery was able to verify that Johnson was the rightful owner after receiving a sketched drawing of the ring from her.
“For Shiloah to find a ring and reach out in all the ways she could think of makes her an exceptional person to me. She is my Christmas angel. And having become friends with her through all this, she really is a sweetheart with a good heart!
Today reports that Avery was reunited with her ring days before her 20th anniversary and celebratory cruise.
