Honey Boo Boo is reportedly no longer living with her mom and her mom’s boyfriend following their recent arrest.
As Dearly previously reported, reality television star Mama June and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, were arrested in March following a public disturbance while at a gas station in Alabama.
Responding police officers also found drug paraphernalia and a white substance inside the couple’s vehicle. Both June and Geno were later charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Geno was also charged with domestic violence.
Now, TMZ is reporting that June’s daughter, Alana Thompson (AKA Honey Boo Boo), has moved out and is currently living with her older sister, Lauryn, and her family.
Better known to fans as Pumpkin, Lauryn is also a mom to a 1-year-old daughter, Ella, whom she shared with her husband, Josh.
Shortly after their mom’s arrest, Lauryn shared this statement with their fans:
“Hey guys, as you know, you’ve seen the stuff out in the media and our family is going through a rough patch. But this year alone we have had a lot of happiness. And when my mom and Alana were out in California and everything seemed good. Then the next couple months rolled around and things took a turn. We’re sharing our story in hopes that it helps another family and I sincerely want to thank our fans for always being there and loving and supporting us.”
According to TMZ, over the last couple of months, Lauryn has become Alana’s “de facto guardian.” The 13-year-old has been helping care for her niece while living with Lauryn and Josh.
A video was taken of June at a casino with Geno earlier this month.
As TMZ reports, a judge had ordered June to stay away from her boyfriend back in March following their arrest.
June is also going through some serious health issues.
In a preview for the next episode of WEtv’s “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” both Lauryn and Honey Boo Boo can be seen worrying about their mom and how “she’s changed” ever since she started dating Geno.
It’s unclear if Lauryn and Alana have plans of making their current living arrangement permanent.
