Renovation experts Chip and Joanna Gaines have helped “Today” co-anchor Hoda Kotb tremendously, but not with home improvement.
As TODAY reports, Kotb, 52, called into the morning show on May 14 to recap her Mother’s Day weekend.
As Dearly reports, Kotb adopted a little girl named Haley Joy, who is now 2, in 2017. On April 16, she revealed that she adopted a second little girl, Hope Catherine.
On Monday, Kotb revealed that she’d found the perfect way to put the 1-month-old to sleep over the weekend, TODAY reports.
“You know what puts Hope to bed? It is Chip and Joanna Gaines.”
Additionally, the mother of two told co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager about the moment she made the discovery regarding “Hope’s sleeping pattern.”
“Let me tell you, I put her in the bassinet right by the TV, even though I know you’re not supposed to. I click on Chip and Joanna — she is out cold!”
Aside from putting Hope to sleep, Kotb’s Mother’s Day was filled with love.
For example, she enjoyed a home-cooked breakfast made by her partner Joel Schiffman. Furthermore, she received an extra special handmade card.
An emotional Kotb said:
“The idea that Mother’s Day is here and I’m doing more than celebrating my mom — which I’ve loved and I’ve done my whole life — the idea that I got Mother’s Day cards. The fact that I got Mother’s Day flowers…”
She said it was just celebrating being a mom that made for “a great, great day!”
