Last week, actress Hilary Duff was past her due date and frustrated her baby girl seemingly didn’t want to be born.

As Dearly previously reported, the 31-year-old mom jokingly told her unborn daughter “the stay is up” in a post on Instagram.

But now, the mom has finally welcomed her baby girl with boyfriend Matthew Koma. She shared the news on Monday night with a sweet photo of the newborn.

The mother of two, who also has a 6-year-old son from a previous relationship, had long been referring to her daughter as “Baby B” in pregnancy updates.

The announcement revealed that the nickname doesn’t stand for her father’s real last name, “Bair,” as speculated, but Banks Violet Bair.

Duff wrote:

Banks Violet Bair ❤️ this little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic ✨

According to E! News, Duff was thrilled when she learned that she was having a baby girl because that meant they “made a little princess of [their] own.”

On National Daughter Day last month, Duff wrote that she was thankful to be a mother. The 31-year-old wrote, in part:

I feel so blessed to have my son and now to have the gift of a daughter! I don’t know what I possibly did so right!

Thankfully, it seems baby Banks is happy and healthy. Congratulations to the parents!
