And Baby Sussex officially has a name.

On Instagram, just hours after he was revealed to the world by his parents for the first time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced their son’s name on Instagram.

Along with a beautiful black-and-white photo of Meghan introducing her son to Queen Elizabeth, they announced that name of Baby Sussex — Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The new parents shared:

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child:

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor

This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.

As Dearly previously reported, both Prince Harry and Meghan introduced their seven-pound, three-ounce baby boy to the world earlier Wednesday morning.

Meghan said of being a new mom:

“It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I mean, I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”

And while they couldn’t agree on who he looks like more, Harry joked that Archie’s temperament is much like his mother’s.

“He has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm,” Meghan said before Harry chimed in to add, “I wonder who he gets that from.”

So sweet.
