Jade Roper Tolbert and her husband Tanner met thanks to the ever-popular reality television franchise, “The Bachelor.” And although they weren’t on the same season of the show, the young couple is considered one of the shows success stories.

Jade and Tanner have been married since January 24, 2016, and now have two children together.

However, as Jade revealed to her fans on Instagram, the birth of her baby boy was such a surprise that it happened in her closet at home.

On July 30, Jade told her followers on Instagram that she gave birth to her first son on July 29, 75 minutes after her water broke in her “master closet.”

I accidentally gave birth at home last night, in our master closet. I’ve been still processing the shock of this all, as this was not all at what I had planned, but I am so so thankful for each person who helped bring our son into the world safely. I’ll share my whole birth story soon, but long story short, my waters broke and 75 minutes later I gave birth to our healthy baby boy while clutching a bench in our closet. It was one of the scariest moments of my life because I felt so out of control, but Tanner, Tanner’s mom, my mom and the medics and firefighters kept me going when I felt like the world was caving in on me and my unborn baby. I was going to share the happy, cute Instagrammable pics first, but this felt right to me. So incredibly grateful for the support system we had and for this beautiful boy I get to hold in my arms.

In a video shared on Jade’s Instagram story shortly after the birth of their baby boy, the mom is emotional as she holds her baby and asked if he’s okay. Her husband, Tanner, who is behind the camera, can be heard encouraging Jade and telling her how great she did.

Over 15,000 people commented on Jade’s harrowing birth story.

Many of which praised the now mom-of-two for strength:

Wowwwww you are a superwoman. So so happy that you and baby are safe and healthy!

Dang woman, you are amazing. Congratulations on your baby boy.

You are amazing! Congratulations!!!!!

Congratulations! You are amazing and strong and what a story this will be for little guys whole life. Sending love.

You look absolutely stunning. What a warrior. All our love.

My hero.

And as Tanner wrote on his own Instagram account, despite their baby boy throwing them “a curveball,” both Jade and their son are “health and all is well.”

Now all they have left to do, as Tanner admitted, is pick a name.
