As Tropical Storm Irma finally clears Florida, first responders are stepping up to begin the long recovery process.

One particularly enthusiastic precinct in Gainesville shared a selfie of three officers eager to get to work.

The local department probably didn’t expect the reactions they got…

Throngs of women flocked to the comments to offer their unorthodox support of Officers Nordman, Hamill, and Rengerin, who seem to “arrest” the ladies with their good looks.

Just a handful of the compliments show that these women may be feeling a five-alarm fire from these hometown hunks.

Take a look:

They really left nothing to the imagination.

LJ Rhodes took us on a little fantasy with her comment:

While EnnaLeigh McDougal and Sarah Hansard kept it topical:

And all good citizens Erica York and Robin Lewis just wanted was a refresher on their rights:

Many commented for a proactive use of their thirst — they requested that the very able-bodied officers of the Gainesville Police Department make a calendar and give the proceeds to a local charity, many of which are in dire need after the devastating hurricane.

And it’s these women’s lucky day. While they may not have produced a calendar, the GPD posted a second gallery of brave men on call.

Talk about Florida’s finest.
