Farrah Abraham can’t catch a break.
Earlier this week, “Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger slammed the “Teen Mom” star’s dating life. And now, Abraham’s older sister, Ashley Danielsen, has delivered another blow.
In Touch reports that Danielsen has had “little to no contact” with her younger sister over the last four years.
According to gossip site The Ashley, Danielsen and Abraham were unable to repair their relationship after a falling-out on St. Patrick’s Day 2013, when the “16 and Pregnant” star got booked with a DUI after celebrating with her sister.
Initially, Abraham told In Touch she blamed her DUI on Danielsen:
“I was out with my sister. I did not plan to drink because I was sick, so I took the role of being in charge and making sure my sister and I would return home together and safely. At 10 p.m., I tried to leave, and at that time, my sister was not ready to leave, so I had been sipping on drinks to pass the time.”
TMZ reported that the young mother agreed to six months of probation, six months of court-mandated sobriety, and a $500 fine.
In Touch added that since then, Danielsen has stayed away from her sister’s reaches — and that appears to be true given Danielsen’s interview with The Ashley, during which she stated:
“It’s very rare [that I speak to Farrah].”
“I have a full schedule and I’m assuming she probably does too. Children, work, sports, appointments, school, etc… Life just gets in the way.”
Part of that full schedule includes Danielsen’s two children, Sylvia and Axl. In fact, the most “heartbreaking” part of Danielsen’s falling out with her sister is the inability to bond with Abraham’s 8-year-old daughter, Sophia:
“I don’t get to spend any time with Sophia. I think that’s the part that makes me the saddest. Our family was very close growing up. We were with our cousins almost every day. I think it’s sad that my kids won’t have that relationship with Sophia.”
Danielsen hopes to keep out of the spotlight, unlike some other members of her family, recently refusing to partake in WE TV’s “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition” with Farrah and her mother.
