Former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham was arrested in the early morning hours of June 13 after she allegedly got into a physical altercation with a male security guard at The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Looking great in @prettylittlething – No charges & no jail time , I chose this life and I handle being targeted as a public figure & public punching bag ALL is Fair In Farrah’s world I will never believe the lies that people need to sell to make a dollar off me- Happy it’s all recorded and documented as I should never feel unsafe and be targeted at a hotel I’m staying at The Beverly Hills hotel truly allowed misconduct by staff to a paying guest there’s no need for me or anyone else to be treated this way. The Beverly Hills Police officers should stop having power trips and lying and selling stories to TMZ, while you let all of Beverly Hills be robbed, car break ins, stealing go on… focus on really protecting the public and doing good for Beverly Hills instead of creating made up problems. #farrahabraham

Since being released on a $500 bond, Abraham is telling her side of the story. She told TMZ that she believes she was targeted because of her “celebrity” status:

“I really think this is blown way out of proportion. It was a very simple situation. I was targeted, things are made up, I can handle it. It is fine. My family, my friends, everyone who was there helped me. I don’t know who called the cops, why people called the cops. I literally focused on my…”

A friend who was with Abraham during the reported altercation jumped in during the interview to say that calling the cops was “unnecessary.”

Abraham agreed:

“It was unnecessary. I was focused on my friends and then someone was trying to be involved, another guest, I don’t know if the guest was intoxicated, I don’t know who he even is, or what he even looked like. So to me, I don’t even want to speak about them.

I was just targeted and I had to deal with that the best way I can and I hope no other female finds herself in this position or this situation. I know its very hard being a public figure or a ‘celebrity,’ if you will. I’m not even about that, but that is what happens when you were targeted and people use that against you to make it seem like, I mean I was guest of the hotel and I stay there often even for my daughter’s birthday. So I mean nothing knew. I was a guest and I was supposed to be there, I was there all day at the pool. So, yeah, it’s all sorted and I’m really sorry that this was blown out of proportion and I just need to focus on work and on my projects.”

As Dearly previously reported, Abraham was staying at the hotel with her nine-year-old daughter, Sophia, and a friend. The mother-daughter pair were seen the day before her arrest, laying by the pool and eating ice cream sundaes.

The altercation allegedly stemmed from a verbal altercation between Abraham and another hotel guest. According to earlier reports by TMZ, Abraham got physical with the male security guard when he asked her to leave and she refused.

Police said the 27-year-old mom “hit [the guard] in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed his head as he tried preventing her from reentering the hotel.”

She reportedly told the responding authorities to “go f**k yourself,” multiple times. Abraham was eventually booked and charged with battery and trespassing. However, according to her Instagram, those charges were later dropped.

It remains unclear where Sophia was during the debacle.
