Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially presented baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on Instagram on Wednesday.

Fans were delighted that the royal couple proudly shared their royal newborn with the public this morning.

Yet within hours of the world getting its first glimpse of 2-day-old baby Archie, moms couldn’t stop praising Markle for letting Harry hold the baby in the first photos since giving birth and for showing off her baby bump so prominently with a belted dress.

Women on Twitter commented on the duchess’s effort to “normalize” a postpartum body. One person wrote:

Big up Meghan Markle! She let dad hold the baby and showed us that every woman still has their baby bump. Might not seem much but in a media that bombards new mums with impossibly glamorous role models, it’s a rebellious act #postpartum #RoyalBaby

Another fan said:

Meghan Markle showing up 48 hours after giving birth looking realistically postpartum is all any mom anywhere needed for Mothers Day. Thank. You.

As reported by The Sun, Markle was applauded for following in Kate Middleton’s footsteps by visibly accentuating her post-baby “mommy” tummy.

But they’re also complimenting the Duchess of Sussex for her sleeveless, custom white double-breasted dress created by London-based designer Grace Wales Bonner, which shows off her postpartum figure.

However, some said it was another “courageous” move to wear white after giving birth.

While others admitted that they could never throw on a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels so shortly after pushing out a baby.
