Some people might recognize Eric Decker as the wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans, or as the husband of Jesse James Decker — a country pop singer/songwriter.

The two forged successful careers in their own right with one a professional football player and the other an all-genre Billboard 100 hit song artist, respectively, but it was their decision to jump into reality TV that really garnered a fan base.

In late 2013, their E! show “Eric and Jessie: Game On” premiered, giving millions of people an inside look into their very real lives.

Like most family units allowing a slew of cameras to follow their every move, Eric and Jesse have maintained an openness about all things them: Their marriage, their child-rearing techniques, and, their careers.

Now, as their show is returning for a third season, the young and fun couple are revealing some intimate details about their life once again.

The topic?

Kids.

On Friday, Jesse told People magazine they’re open to having a third child, but for one very personal reason. First they clarified that they’re not trying right now, rather they’re not opposed, saying:

“I do see more kids in the future. I don’t know if it is necessarily right now, but we’re not doing anything not to have more kids. We’re just leaving it up in the air and leaving it in God’s hands.”

She continued, however, saying the choice to expand their family stems from a particularly sensitive memory from Eric’s childhood:

” … [For Eric], it was just him and his sister, and he said he always felt like they were missing a sibling and he wishes [his parents] would have had three. So I didn’t want Vivi or Bubby to feel like they wish they had another sibling.”

Although she did say coming from “a family of three kids” has contributed to her and Eric “always” wanting three children, she and her husband want to make sure their own little ones never experience the feeling Eric did growing up.

For now, however, they’re letting whatever happens happen, and looking darn good in the meantime.
