Pop singer Ariana Grande and SNL comedian Pete Davidson announced their engagement on June 11, after roughly six weeks of dating.
The young couple moved into a New York City apartment together and acquired multiple matching tattoos. And recently, Davidson gifted his future wife with a sentimental gift.
On July 14, Davidson posted a picture of Grande wearing a New York Fire Department pendant around her neck. According to E! News, the pendant belonged to his father, who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

However, some people took issue with the 24-year-old giving Grande such a sentimental present.
One follower said:
No girl should ever wear your dad’s chain. So disrespectful.
The young comedian retaliated by saying:
For [your] information that’s not just some girl, that’s my fiancée. She’s the greatest person I know. I gave it to her because she has my heart and that is the most precious thing I own. My dad would be so happy and love her so much.
Grande then responded to Davidson’s post herself:
I love [you] more than anything.
E! News pointed out that Davidson’s ex-girlfriend, whom he dated just before getting engaged to Grande, was seen wearing the pendant in December 2017:
Davidson is 24 years old and Grande is 25; many people seem to think their relationship won’t last.
