A Georgia dad was in high praise at church when he fell over in shock after his navy daughter surprised him.

In a heartwarming video, Jerome Mondy can be seen dancing at Divine Faith Ministries International when his daughter, Jadiah, who’s been deployed for two years, stood next to him mid-worship.

Inside Edition reports, Jadiah’s been stationed in Japan for two years and wasn’t due home for another week but decided to come back to Jonesboro early.

The 24-year-old told the outlet, that she and brother, Isaac, 26, and mom all plotted to give her dad one big surprise with her early arrival.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Isaac said, “After telling my dad she’d be home on March 2, he had no idea what was about to happen.”

He continued:

“She spoke with my dad that morning at our hotel as if she was still in Japan and he was clueless as to what was about to take place.

With the help of our youth pastor at Divine Faith Ministries International, TaVondria Battle, she helped set him up on the stage.”

The video shows Mondy dancing alongside his children but he doesn’t seem to notice Jadiah until he does a double take.

Watch the video below:

Mondy said, “It was a great surprise. I grabbed and hugged her. I picked her up. When I did get a chance to talk to her, I said, ‘How you got here?”’

Isaac said he couldn’t believe his dad actually fell to the ground:

“I was surprised, actually. I didn’t think he was going to fall for real.”

Mondy was too busy dancing up a storm, that he didn’t realize the woman standing next to him was Jadaih until he looked up and saw “some fatigues.”
