Traveling is challenging enough for people without kids, but add small children in the mix and the difficult task becomes even more stressful.

That’s why many parents said they could relate to one fed-up father traveling through Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia with his daughters on New Year’s Day, reports FOX 10.

A videographer, who recorded a man holding a duffle bag in one hand and a little girl’s hood in the other, wrote in the clip’s description.

I was waiting at Dulles International Airport to pick up my girlfriend on New Year’s Day when I noticed this father literally dragging his daughter through the airport by the hood of her jacket.

She wasn’t screaming or anything, just hanging out while another girl, presumably her sister, was walking 20 feet behind her out of embarrassment.

Looks like this dad has reached his limit ?

While some questioned the dad’s decision and called his actions “child abuse,” one commenter wrote:

All I can think of is all the nasty germs on that floor. As a parent I get it But gross. Just gross.

Many were surprisingly supportive of the father and wrote in the comments section:

Only people without kids would think this is child abuse!…. Dad’s done playin games lol id like to buy this guy a ?.

The dad has since been praised online for pulling the little girl through the terminal. Many parents said the video was so relatable:

Me before children seeing this: ‘can you believe this parent? How awful I would never do that.’ Me after having children: ‘dude i feel ya carry on!'”

As much as I wanna say this is bad … I wanna say This is me and I feel his struggle … We as parents have to get creative at times.

We all have been there…..

The video has been viewed more than 7.9 million times. The little girl being dragged did not appear to be acting out.

It’s unknown whether she asked to be pulled.

If kid hated it, she’d be letting him know. She’s st the age, it was a game and kept her occupied and off her feet or him carrying her. Germs ARE
A consideration, but you do what’s necessary at
    The time.?

LOL I think this kid was having fun. Germs? Her hands weren’t on the floor. There’s probably more germs on anything she touches thans on that floor. Embarrassment? She’s probably mad because he’s not pulling her LOL.

I would have thrown the kid over my shoulder but after seeing how some kids misbehave in airports I don’t blame him for doing what had to be done to get to his gate. The kid actually look like she was enjoying the ride.

I want to give this father a dam medal if you never had children you have no idea. When a child throws a tantrum and don’t want to walk this is what happens.I don’t see anything wrong she was having fun.Sometime people need to mind there own business he wasn’t hurting her. After dealing with some kids you need a few drinks it’s not easy for everybody. LEAVE THIS FATHER ALONE HE IS IN HER LIFE DOING WHAT HE CAN.

Me before children would have thought this was awful. I’ve seen my younger siblings though. Me after children thinks Dad is doing a great job!
Yay Dad! Keep up the good job!
