On social media, Chrissy Teigen wrote a post warning her fans and followers not to worry if they see her six months old son Miles wearing a helmet.

According to the famous mom of two, Miles has “baby flat head” and the corrective helmet is used to help reshape it.

She wrote:

Baby Miles getting fitted for a little helmet today for his adorable slightly misshapen head. So if you see pictures, don’t feel bad for him because he’s just fixing his flat and honestly he’s probably gonna be even cuter with it somehow.

As the Mayo Clinic reports, baby flat head or plagiocephaly can sometimes occur during birth or throughout their first months of life:

Sometimes a baby’s head is molded unevenly while passing through the birth canal. In other cases, head shape changes after birth as a result of pressure on the back of the head when the baby lies on his or her back.

Fortunately, Mayo Clinic says that plagiocephaly isn’t too worrisome, adding that it is considered a “cosmetic issue” and doesn’t “cause brain damage or interfere with a baby’s development.”

Like Miles, many babies have the issue corrected by wearing a helmet for a period of time or by parents changing the position they sleep in.

And after Teigen shared photos of just how cute her son looked in his new helmet, other parents began to do the same thing.

Not long after Teigen posted to Twitter, her feed was filled with even more adorable photos of other babies also wearing corrective helmets:

Now that’s almost too much cute to handle.
