A 3-year-old girl recently decided parenting wasn’t for her and chucked her new Christmas toy in the trash.

Days after unwrapping her newborn baby doll, Zailey Lyda told her mother she’d had enough.

Javani Person

JaVani Person, Zailey’s mother, shared a photo of her daughter’s Doc McStuffins baby doll, crib, and stroller in the kitchen trash can.

She captioned the photo:

Well I’ll be mf got damned. I came downstairs & Zailey said she don’t wanna be a mommy no more bc her baby don’t listen.

Dearly spoke with Zailey’s mother, who said she removed the toy from the trash because it was a “brand-new Christmas gift.”

JaVani Person

Person said:

“It didn’t surprise me at all. She has a ton of personality and does stuff like that all the time, so I just laughed and told her we can’t throw kids in the trash when we are tired of them…”

Person’s post received over 2,000 likes and 58,000 shares on Facebook.

Users shared tons of laughing emojis and amused reactions. Another commenter referenced Tupac’s hit song “Brenda’s Got a Baby,” which tells the tale a distraught teen mother who abandons her newborn in a nearby dumpster.

Another user commented:

She threw the play pen and the stroller away too, she wasn’t playing ????

Person jokingly replied that her daughter Zailey was “fed up” and that she hopes her daughter is as understanding when she does the same to her.

If only being a real parent was that simple.

    Have the child evaluated.
    This is not normal behavior.

that would really screw her up

Lmao! It’s hilarious! She obviously heard someone say it before.

If this is the way the mom talks to her child in real life, she is setting a great parenting example

This is learned behavior, and it is not funny. This child is hearing or seeing words or actions of people she is around or on TV, music.
These children are sponges and absorb every sight, sound, smell touch around them.
There is a Proverb that speaks to training up a child in the way he should go, and he will not depart from it.
That is positive and negative training.. this here is negative, and is developing into a dislike for people because do not respond positively to you. And, where is this child’s play imagination? Psychological help is needed.

My concern is this: Is the little girl acting out the example set by her mother when dealing with a parent-child situation that requires more than the usual patience❓ Is this indicative of how the little girl will deal with her child if she should become a mother someday❓

Yes, my first reaction was that this child heard a similar sentiment from her mother: throw a child away when you’ve had enough and the child doesn’t listen.

Despicable language or I would’ve forwarded it as funny.

I would ask in discussion with the child where she got the idea that throwing away “her baby” was perfectly okay because she was tired of parenting. Apparently, she learned that tossing things away is the okay thing to do if one feels the job is too “stressful/hard/boring”. I would look at those around her to see where she learned this idea, rather than posting the event on social media.

OMG PEOPLE!!!! That was hilarious!!! She doesn’t need counseling or other mental help, she is a child and she was playing with a doll for God’s sake!1! I’m sure she is well aware that mothers don’t really do this to their children. All this PC crap is ruining America!!!!!`

Finally, someone else who takes this as a joke! Sure, maybe it’s a point of concern in the future, but right now it’s just something to laugh about

Here’s an idea: she learned this from someone. Did she see an example in her neighborhood? Maybe explains why cops are finding more and more of these negro babies just aborted or thrown in a dumpster somewhere still alive. Suggest some more focus on finding out where the child heard of this “solution”, or just how was the child influenced to the point of trying to get rid of it as a solution to it’s “don’t listen”…

      Seriously you said (negro)!!! OMGosh!!!

OMG get a life !!!!!! does everyone always read into the negative of a post. They act like their kids were saints. This is a child not a adult . Kids do strange and funny things it’s part of growing up. You all …..right away jump to a conclusion that she needs counseling. I think her mom exlplained to her daughter very well. If you can’t say nice things Don’t say anything.

I agree my 3 year old granddaughter who will be 4 in February starts screaming because her mom and her dad not married always fought! They are a product of their Environment and they do pick up everything like a sponge so the other comment from that Lady is Correct! If her 2 older brothers say a dirty word so does she, and they don’t forget it! So Good Luck in trying to retrace her thoughts and steps, a child or not!

Wow! This little girl is 3 years old! Yeah she learned this from somewhere! She learned that if she doesnt like a toy or doesnt want something you are supposed to.trhow it in the trash! Three year old little girls are just starting to get into the idea of playing with baby dolls. But at that age it’s just another toy. They dont start really identifying with them as real “babies” and treating them as such until around five or six. Up till then they are just another toy to be discarded when they lose interest. Three year olds also have very short attention spans, causing them to grow tired of things quickly. Calm down ppl! I’m sure this sweet girl is just a regular three year old who decided she was bored with playing mommy. Lol! Funny story!

I think if stories about toys can be news, then a major Insurance company taking advantage of you, after serving the United States in a war, is newsworthy, as well…just my opinion…cute story though (I have little ones too).
