Amy and Matt Roloff rose to fame on their hit reality television show, “Little People, Big World.”
And many of their fans were surprised when their 29-year marriage came to an end in 2016.
Recently, Amy briefly opened up about her divorce to Matt in the comment section of one of her Instagram posts. More specifically, Amy told a follower what she learned while going through the process.
Initially, the mom of four took to Instagram to thank her followers for their continued support:
I wanted to give you all that follow me, share my FB and IG with others, show me support and encouragement in all I do in every aspect of my life . . . A BIG Shout Out of Woohoo, Thanks, Appreciation and Love and so much more.
Not only did she offer thanks to her followers, but she also offered a bit of advice to one of her followers going through a similar situation.
The commenter wrote:
Glad your happy.. everyone needs to be happy…I’m getting a divorce I’m very happy..lol
I hope all goes well for everyone impacted by your divorce. Glad you are happy. One thing I’ve learned not only did it impact me going through it and after it was final but my kids as well – even as ‘adults’. I’m glad I’ve weathered that storm personally much better than I thought I would, I’m happy in this stage of my life, I met and with someone that is wonderful and most of all my kids are doing well. All the best to you and love.
Since their split, both Amy and Matt have been reportedly dating other people. Matt started dating his former assistant and farm project manager Caryn Chandler, while Amy started dating real estate agent Chris Marek.
However, as Dearly previously reported, Amy and Matt both continue to experience backlash as a result of finding new love.
Fans of the show have accused both Chris and Caryn as being opportunists, claiming they are only in it for the “fame.”
Amy and Matt seemingly couldn’t disagree more.
