On Monday, country star Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher welcomed their second son to the world.

The “Cry Pretty” songstress confirmed the arrival of Jacob Bryan Fisher with an Instagram post on Wednesday, Dearly reported.

Underwood said the boy was morning in the early morning hours of January 21 and shared sweet photos of their new bundle of joy.

She wrote:

Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday…his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…

Fisher and Underwood’s older son, Isiah, was born in 2015. They tried for years to conceive a second child and suffered through three devastating miscarriages.

Now, the happy father is calling Jacob a “miracle baby.”

Fisher shared a photo of his newborn son with fans on Instagram, along with some words about his family’s struggle with fertility.

The dad said:

Jacob Bryan Fisher! You are a gift from our Lord! The last few years has has had its challenges and it makes this moment even more sweet!

Fisher said he and Underwood weren’t sure if they’d ever had another child. But now, the timing couldn’t be more perfect:

We didn’t know if Izzy would ever have another sibling but we learned through it all that God is in control and his timing is perfect! He is good all the time even in the difficult times that are hard to understand. #grateful #miraclebaby.

No word yet if the couple plan on further expanding their family. For now, they’re likely busy cuddling up with their precious rainbow baby.
