It’s been a whirlwind beginning of the year for Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher.
On January 21, the couple just welcomed their second child, Jacob Bryan Fisher, to the world. Mike said they’ve been busy with sleepless nights and diaper changes ever since.
He told the Nashville Predators’ podcast that his wife has been up for the challenge despite her busy schedule:
“She won’t ask for any help. She wants to do everything on her own. I’m like, ‘It’s OK to ask for help, if you want to sleep,’ and she’s like, ‘No, this is my job. This is what I’m supposed to do.’ She’s a champ that way.”

Underwood also celebrated her 36th birthday over the weekend.
Her husband, who is a former professional hockey player, posted a sweet message on Instagram in honor of the special occasion.
Fisher said he’s thankful for his wife, who brings so much joy to him and their sons.
The country songstress’ husband wrote:
Happy birthday babe! You’re an incredible wife and mom! Us boys are so grateful for you! Love you lots.
Fans flooded the comments with birthday wishes and praise for the “beautiful couple.”
The 36-year-old is currently prepping to head out on the Cry Pretty 360 Tour, which kicks off in May.
Though Underwood is busy balancing kids and her hectic music schedule, it seems she has plenty of support by her side.
