After announcing the release of her new album and sharing the news of her upcoming tour, which will begin in May 2019, Underwood revealed that she and Fisher are expecting baby number two.
While she didn’t mention her due date, Underwood did say that she, her husband, and their son Isaiah are very excited to welcome their fourth family member into the world in the coming months:
“Mike, Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another fish to our pond. We’re just so excited and glad you guys can share this with us and be a part of it. Love you guys!”
Fans flocked to the comment section to offer their congratulations.
Underwood upset some of her fans when she told Redbook that she may have missed her chance to have a large family with Fisher because of her age:
I’m 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family. We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older. In the meantime, we’re lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids, because our focus right now in our lives is helping as many kids as possible.
In light of this exciting baby news, could it be possible that Underwood was just trying to keep her pregnancy news under wraps for just a little bit longer?
