After months of anticipation, expectant mom Carrie Underwood has finally revealed the gender of her unborn baby.
The 35-year-old announced her second pregnancy with husband Mike Fisher back in August but kept the gender under wraps.
The country songstress finally spilled the beans while hosting the 52nd Annual Country Music Association Awards alongside Brad Paisley on Wednesday night.
During the opening segment, Paisley poked fun at Underwood and encouraged her to reveal the news by picking between male and female names of stars.
He eventually asked, “Waylon or Willie?” To which Underwood responded:
“Oh my gosh! Willie, it’s a Willie.”
This isn’t the first time Underwood chose the CMA Awards to reveal the gender of her baby with Paisley’s help, Country Living reports.
In 2014, the co-hosts Paisley pretended to accidentally reveal that Underwood was having a baby boy after she whispered the gender into his ear.
However, they later clarified that they planned the whole thing — after the hashtag #BradBlewIt went viral on social media.
So it seems Underwood used her partner in crime to help her share the big news once again.
However, the expectant mom still hasn’t announced when she expects to welcome her second bundle of joy.
Underwood welcomed her first son, Isaiah Michael, in 2015.
