Country music superstar Carrie Underwood is opening up about her second pregnancy.
Underwood and Fischer are already the proud parents of their 3-year-old son Isaiah Michael, whom they welcomed on February 27, 2015.
The singer, who recently revealed she suffered three miscarriages over the last two years, is now talking about how she’s been feeling during her second pregnancy and how it’s been different than her first.
Underwood told Entertainment Tonight:
“It’s definitely different than the first time. When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms. I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it’s been really good.”
Aside from this pregnancy being a bit tougher for her physically, Underwood said her whole family is excited to meet the newest addition to the family, especially Isaiah.
However, the soon-to-be big brother is putting his foot down on things he won’t be doing for his little sibling:
“He says he won’t change any poopy diapers though. I understand, maybe I can change his mind.”
The couple has yet to reveal the sex of their second child, despite Ellen Degeneres making a valiant ever to get it out of the songstress:
Underwood also revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she and her husband already have a name picked out for their unborn child, but they are enjoying having a few secrets of their own right now.
It’s unclear if they will reveal the name and gender before his or her birth.
According to Country Living, Underwood is due sometime in January or February 2019.
Despite the harder pregnancy, Underwood is still keeping busy by performing at award shows, making appearances, and working on her upcoming “Cry Pretty” tour.
It’s safe to say that it seems she’s doing just fine.
