A Baltimore school lunch lady suffered several injuries after enforcing the school’s milk policy on Tuesday.

As Fox 45 reports, the unnamed woman was attacked by two National Academy Foundation students after telling them “no food, no milk.”

The name of the victim has not been released, but the local news source spoke with her sister, Kenya Mackey for more information.

According to Mackey, her sister told her:

“Protocol is, if you get the milk, you have to get the food that goes with the milk.”

Mackey says her sister was rushed to Mercy hospital with bruises on her forehead, a shattered wrist, and a broken arm following the attack.

A video of the incident was posted to social media, but the original post has since been removed. A recording of the original post shows what appears to be two girls trying to break free to attack the victim walking away.

In regards to the video, Mackey adds:

“You can literally actually see them run behind my sister. My sister was walking away. They ran behind my sister. These young folks are out of control. They’re disrespectful, they’re rude and then you get to meet their parents and their parents are the same way.”

School officials released a statement Tuesday night concerning the victim of the attack and the consequences for the students involved.

According to WBALTV 11, Edie House Foster, Baltimore City Schools spokeswoman, says:

“Our thoughts are with her and her family during her recovery. Pending completion of investigations by school staff and city schools police, the students involved will receive all appropriate consequences according to the law and the district’s code of conduct.”

There has been no word on the current condition of the student attackers.

There is no justification for the actions of these students. Attacking other students or adults is totally unacceptable! In this case the worker was doing her job. Regardless of how ridiculous the rules (or laws) may sound, there are better ways to “fight” them, then attack those who are hired to enforce them.
