Model Brooklyn Decker just sent her second child off to preschool for the first time — and it took an emotional toll on the mommy of two.
The 32-year-old, who recently slammed trolls online for criticizing her post-baby body, shared a video after the moment on Instagram.
In the emotional clip, Decker cries to her husband about sending off her daughter, 1-year-old Stevie.
She asks hubby Andy Roddick, “Are we bad parents for sending her off?” To which he replies, “I would argue that we’re good parents for sending her off.”
Decker then wells up with emotion and laments that they “just left her to fend for herself!”
Thankfully, it seems Roddick is an expert when it comes to comforting his wife. After she said her daughter was quickly surrounded by other toddlers, he said:
“And she looked ’em all in the face and said, ‘Come at me, yo!’”
Decker then said she was “good.” The mom captioned her very relatable clip:
I cried. Not as much this time. Two babies in baby school.
She also shared a sweet image of her husband walking alongside Stevie and their older son, 3-year-old Hank.
Decker isn’t shy about speaking out about the ups and downs of being a mom.
In February, the model said that giving birth and breastfeeding changed her notoriously curvy frame, Dearly reported.
After she was called “gangly” by a social media user, she explained on Twitter:
For the umpteenth time- because people love to comment on my body (or lack thereof) my children sucked the life out of my body and left behind a bag of bones. I don’t know what else to tell you. I miss my boobs too- I don’t even know what to call them now.
It seems that in a world of seemingly perfect mom bloggers, Decker isn’t afraid to get real.
