Britney Spears is asking fans for a little privacy as she copes with her family’s “stress and anxiety.”

The message comes after the singer checked herself into a Los Angeles mental health facility last month, TMZ reports.

This 30-day stay is reportedly in response to doctors needing to find the right combination of medicine to prescribe the pop star. As Dearly previously reported, Spears has also been dealing with her dad’s recovery following a colon rupture that took place near the end of 2018.

Despite these hiccups, Spears says she’s fine and will be returning to the scene soon.

On Tuesday, she posted a video message for her fans on Instagram.

I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear. These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago… I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address. My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment ??? You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you ❤️❤️❤️

She said:

“Hi guys, just checking in with all of you who are concerned about me. All is well. My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately, so I just needed time to deal, but don’t worry I’ll be back very soon.”

As TMZ reports, Sam Asghari is pushing a similar message about his girlfriend’s condition.

On Tuesday, Asghari told a reporter:

“She’s doing amazing…Her fans are so amazing to be so concerned, but she’s doing great…Nobody needs to worry, she’s doing amazing and she’ll be back soon.”

The couple was spotted out together on Easter Sunday. TMZ reports that Spears received a day pass from the facility.

During the holiday, the singer spent time with her boyfriend in Beverly Hills.

It’s unclear who her two sons are staying with while she completes her stay at the facility.
