“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Brandi Glanville issued a stark warning about home security following her robbery. Burglars broke into her Los Angeles house mid-day while she and her two sons were home.

The 45-year-old told Us Weekly on Tuesday, October 23, she disarmed her home burglary alarm because she felt safe at her residence, but that wasn’t a smart move. Glanville said:

“I’m fine but just shaken up. This happened mid-day when the boys and I were home.

We have an alarm, but it wasn’t set because we were there and I felt safe in my home because we have a security system and gates.”

She added:

“[The] scariest thing is thinking what could’ve happened if either myself or one of my boys walked in on them in the process of robbing us.”

The incident was extremely scary for her family and although nobody was hurt, Glanville told her followers about the home invasion.

The “Unfiltered” podcast host urged fans to “set their alarms” while at home.

She tweeted:

People be very careful set your alarms even when you’re at home my house was burglarized yesterday while my kids and I were both there #scary.

In a separate tweet, Glanville told fans that she went to a hardware store and bought new locks and tints for her window.

The Bravo celeb didn’t elaborate on what was stolen, but fans were just happy she and her boys were okay. Some tweeted:

I’m just glad that you all are okay everything else is replaceable.

Glad you are all safe we had a similar experience while we were in bed they opened our door and shone a flashlight on us… Didn’t know we were home. Didn’t sleep for a year after.

Glad you’re ok B and your babies xx.

Glanville shares two children — Mason, 15, and Jake, 11 — with ex-husband, actor, Eddie Cibrian.

The “RHOBH” cast member appeared in five seasons and left the show after season six.
