Fans were once again thrilled to see Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani sitting arm and arm at the ACM Awards.

For those who missed the awards show, Stefani shared Instagram posts from what she called her “date night” with the country music star.

And just last week she bashfully gushed over Shelton during a visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” DeGeneres probed Stefani about the status of her relationship, and the “No Doubt” star eventually opened up to the host.

DeGeneres said:

“I’m just confirming what the tabloids are saying, which is that y’all are getting married.”

To which Stefani replied:

“Oh! So if I say, ‘We are [getting married],’ then we are, and if I say, ‘No, we’re not,’ then that would be sad, too.”

After going back and forth about the rumors, Stefani finally asked DeGeneres for her advice.

She replied:

“I love being married. I think you should get married.”

Stefani replied back:

“You know what? I love weddings, the kids love him. We love him. Everybody loves him. He’s lovable. … I do. I think about it all the time.”

In a pre-show ACM interview with CMT, Shelton was asked the exact same question, and fans were eager to know his thoughts about becoming a groom again.

Yet Shelton, twice divorced, seem to indicate he’s in no rush to get to the altar.

He said marriage is on his mind, but it may take the couple some time to get there:

“I think about it. I don’t think it’s anytime soon or anything. The more time that goes by, I guess, the closer you’d be getting to that.”

“American Idol” host Luke Bryan jokingly told Entertainment Tonight:

“If Blake were smart, he would marry her before she goes to an optometrist.”

However, Bryan said he would be happy to officiate the wedding.
