All eyes were on Rob Kardashian’s social media accounts last week after the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star ignited a fierce, and potentially illegal, tirade against Blac Chyna, the mother of his child.

Kardashian, 30, unleashed a rant about his ex-girlfriend, accusing her of cheating and using him for money. But most damning of all, he released several fully nude photographs of Blac Chyna on both his Instagram and Twitter.

His Instagram, which boasted more than nine million followers, was shut down after the incident.

Kardashian’s distribution of the nude photographs could have actually violated a law. In California, a revenge porn charge could land him in county jail, on probation, or stuck with hefty fines.

And it wasn’t long before Blac Chyna announced that she was lawyering up.

Celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom confirmed on Friday that she would be representing Blac Chyna, and they were gearing up to take Kardashian to court. She tweeted:

Blac Chyna has stayed quiet on social media about her ex’s actions. But on Monday, the reality star sat down for her first interview since the ordeal began. Her lawyer joined her in the exclusive interview for “Good Morning America.”

For the first time, Blac Chyna revealed her initial reaction to hearing the news that her ex had shared nude photos. Blac Chyna said:

“I was devastated, or course. Like how could somebody post these pictures of me? I’m like wow, OK. This is a person that I trusted. I just felt betrayed.”

The reality star also clarified her reasoning behind taking Kardashian to court. She told “GMA”:

“Well I talked to Rob about everything. I’ve talked to him. The moral of the story is that he doesn’t respect me. So if you can’t respect me, you have to respect the law.”

Bloom confirmed that Blac Chyna was seeking a temporary domestic violence restraining order and said that Kardashian had allegedly been physically violent toward Blac Chyna in April.

The lawyer said that Kardashian could be in deep trouble if charged with revenge porn:

“In California, revenge porn is a crime, civil wrong, and a form of domestic abuse.”

Bloom and Blac Chyna slammed the notion that Kardashian could post the photos because Blac Chyna had posted salacious photos to social media in the past. Bloom said:

“This is like saying that a woman can’t be raped if she previously chose to have sex with someone. It’s her body. Her choice. Each and every time.”

Blac Chyna also denied rumors that she “liked” the questionable photos on Instagram and said that she had Kardashian blocked on the social media platform.

The reality star said she decided to speak up about Kardashian’s tirade so that other women will feel empowered to speak out, too.

There’s no word yet on how Kardashian plans to respond.
