However, no official statement has been made by the pop legend or her media mogul husband on the birth or the gender of their newest children.
But now we’ve learned that the “Crazy in Love” singer may have not carried her newborns to full term.
According to TMZ, sources close to the Knowles-Carter clan revealed that the twins were born premature and are now “under the lights.”
“Under the lights” is a casual term for Bilirubin lights, also known as bili lights or phototherapy, which, according to Summit Medical Group, is a kind of treatment for newborns with jaundice.
According to MedlinePlus, it is common for newborns, especially twins, to have high bilirubin levels.
