Ever since President Donald J. Trump took office, his wife Melania Trump has done her best to keep their 13-year-old son out of the public eye.

And because the public doesn’t see a lot of the teenager, it’s often jarring how much Barron William Trump continues to change as he gets older.

Most recently, the First Family made their way back to the White House after taking a 10-day vacation to the President’s Gold Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. While walking off of the helicopter with his mom and dad on August 18, Barron was seen wearing a casual all-black look and tower over his father in height.

As many people on Twitter pointed out, President Trump is six-foot-two-inches tall, making Barron at least 6-foot-three at just 13 years old.

And although it’s often unclear what Barron’s personal life looks like, let’s take a look back at some of his most popular moments since becoming one of the First Children.

The first of Barron’s most memorable moments was when he was caught on camera being “the baby whisper” as his dad fulfilled some of his presidential duties:

Or how about when, in 2017, Barron tried his hardest not to smile when he watched his dad pardon a turkey on Thanksgiving.

But perhaps the most touching part about Barron’s life is how his mom talks about him in interviews. When asked to describe what her son is like, Melania said this to Parenting.com about the now teen:

“He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy. He is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants. Sometimes I call him little Donald. He is a mixture of us in looks, but his personality is why I call him ‘Little Donald.’”

And during a speaking engagement alongside her husband, Melania spoke highly of being a mother to Barron, her only child:

“As everyone in this room knows, mother is a title that claims your heart and changes your life forever. In fact, it has been said that having a child means allowing your heart to walk around outside of your body. For the mothers of someone who has or is serving our country, this must be especially true.”

It’s unclear when the public will get a chance to see Barron again. But one thing is for sure; he is very, very loved.
