Actors Mila Kunis, 35, and Ashton Kutcher, 40, met on the set of “That 70’s Show” in 1998, where their relationship started to bloom.
The celebrity duo tied the knot in 2015 and now have two children together, 4-year-old Wyatt and 2-year-old Dimitri.
And on Tuesday, Kutcher got a bit of parenting advice from an unlikely source — his neighbor, Ellen DeGeneres.
Kutcher joined the 60-year-old host for an episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where she poked fun at the actor for his toddler’s apparent lack of walking skills.
DeGeneres asked the father of two:
“The young boy that never walks is how old?… He never puts him down. He’s always on his back.”
The dad emphasized that his 2-year-old boy can actually walk, it’s just sometimes easier to carry him.
Kutcher explained why his son wasn’t walking when he was spotted by his famous neighbor:
“I now have a complex about this because I have one of those hiking backpack things. I put him in the hiker to go down the beach so we can actually go down the beach. Otherwise it’s a whole wrangling session with the kid. And then you came out and you were like, ‘Oh, does he walk?’ And I was like, ‘Yes! He walks.’”
Regardless, DeGeneres continued to joke with Kutcher. She told the actor:
“Because I had seen it five times. I’d never seen him walk … He should just walk more often.”
Kutcher suggested that he’d take his son to DeGeneres’ house to practice walking. He joked:
“This kid’s going to be an Olympian because I’m going to be behind him like, ‘To Ellen’s house! She’s watching!’”
However, the talk show host said that she thinks Kutcher’s 4-year-old is ahead of her years. DeGeneres said the 4-year-old “seems like she’s eight.”
According to Baby Center, children start walking steadily at around 15 months on average.
