Actors Mila Kunis, 35, and Ashton Kutcher, 40, met on the set of “That 70’s Show” in 1998, where their relationship started to bloom.

The celebrity duo tied the knot in 2015 and now have two children together, 4-year-old Wyatt and 2-year-old Dimitri.

And on Tuesday, Kutcher got a bit of parenting advice from an unlikely source — his neighbor, Ellen DeGeneres.

Kutcher joined the 60-year-old host for an episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where she poked fun at the actor for his toddler’s apparent lack of walking skills.

Night out with the wife

DeGeneres asked the father of two:

“The young boy that never walks is how old?… He never puts him down. He’s always on his back.”

The dad emphasized that his 2-year-old boy can actually walk, it’s just sometimes easier to carry him.

Kutcher explained why his son wasn’t walking when he was spotted by his famous neighbor:

“I now have a complex about this because I have one of those hiking backpack things. I put him in the hiker to go down the beach so we can actually go down the beach. Otherwise it’s a whole wrangling session with the kid. And then you came out and you were like, ‘Oh, does he walk?’ And I was like, ‘Yes! He walks.’”

Regardless, DeGeneres continued to joke with Kutcher. She told the actor:

“Because I had seen it five times. I’d never seen him walk … He should just walk more often.”

Kutcher suggested that he’d take his son to DeGeneres’ house to practice walking. He joked:

“This kid’s going to be an Olympian because I’m going to be behind him like, ‘To Ellen’s house! She’s watching!’”

However, the talk show host said that she thinks Kutcher’s 4-year-old is ahead of her years. DeGeneres said the 4-year-old “seems like she’s eight.”

According to Baby Center, children start walking steadily at around 15 months on average.

Consider the source of the smarta$$ed remark. A lot of parents carry their children because it is easier to carry them instead of trying to get them to keep up. I agree children need to walk a lot, but sometimes it is easier to carry them!

Why is it so many adults who’ve never had kids are always the authority on how to tear other people’s kids?!!

Who takes parenting advice from someone who has no children?

  • Dennis Foster 10 months ago

So I’m wondering, why would anyone go on one of these so called talk shows just to be challenged by these self serving, egotistical, indignant, fools?

How many children has Ellen had exactly? I believe the answer is…none. Talking out of her $&@ again.

Take it easy, people! She was joking with him. He seemed fine with it – why aren’t you?

    Uhm…she’s a comedian, right? So…I don’t know, I could be reaching here,
but, is it at all possible that she was joking with the man?
Sorry, no drama here, you’ll have to wait until you hook up with all your
relatives at Christmas and everyone starts asking when you’re gonna move out
of your parent’s basement and why you quit Weight Watchers and what you
spent all that Go Fund me money on since you didn’t really go to tech school.

Ellen says (and disparages) who ever suits her fancy. It’s a Hollywood thing to be nosy and spout off on national TV to create sensationalism and a “story” where there is nothing. Same way smug “celebrities” spew their venom against Trump. Just ignore her and go watch someone else or go for a hike on the beach.

I think everyone forgot she’s a comedienne. And must not have watched the interview either, as they were both laughing. Gah, get offended by something actually offensive.

    MYOB Ellen!

Just because people are comedians..doesn’t excuse some of the things they say. If she had kids she would know that what she said wasn’t particularly funny.
