While the world was focused on the new royal baby, comedian Amy Schumer also gave birth to a boy just hours before Meghan Markle.

After suffering through a difficult pregnancy, the comedian and her husband Chris Fischer welcomed their first child Sunday night.

In a raw photo, the 37-year-old, who also happens to be the same age as Markle, cradled her sleeping newborn as Fischer gave her a kissed following the delivery.

Alongside the sweet image, the “I Feel Pretty” actress wrote on Instagram:

10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born.

Throughout Schumer’s and Markle’s pregnancies, she often compared the two.

During her Netflix special, “Growing,” Schumer, who suffered from chronic morning sickness throughout her pregnancy, jokingly said:

“I’ll tell you who it’s not fun to be pregnant at the same time as Meghan Markle. I think we’re, like, to the day, the same amount pregnant.”

She told the Los Angeles Times:

“I look forward to competing with Markle every step of the way.”

Nonetheless, despite her rough pregnancy, Schumer seemed in good spirits shortly before giving birth after posting a video of herself posing on the steps of the Met right before the of the ball.

She joked, “Met look this year. Last night on the way to the hospital.”

Like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the couple has not revealed their baby’s name yet but revealed they had a little boy.
