Chris, a real estate agent, admitted to People that he was nervous to ask Amy to marry him and explained why he picked out the type of ring he ultimately gave her:
“I was very nervous! It had to be a heart-shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted.”
Amy said, never “in a million years” did she think she’d get married again after her divorce to her first husband, Matt Roloff, which was finalized in 2016. But she had always hoped she’d be given a second chance.
She told People:
“I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled! I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.”
Now, Amy may have just revealed the year she and Chris plan on getting married.
In an Instagram post shared one week after they got engaged, Amy seemingly revealed that they’ll be waiting until 2021 to exchange vows.

Amy then included that hashtags, “I love this man,” “I’m blessed,” “Journey of Amy R and Chris M,” “Amy Roloff’s Second Act,” “Engaged,” and last but not least, “2021.”
People quickly took to the comments section to ask Amy if that meant her wedding will take place in the year 2021:
Congratulations to you both! Enjoy this moment and soak it in. #2021? Is that your wedding year?
You have a wedding date set for 2021?
Wait, what? Are you waiting two years to actually get married?
However, Amy has yet to confirm or deny those suspicions.
