Just two weeks after her youngest son married his longtime love in a beautiful ceremony on their family farm, “Little People, Big World” star Amy Roloff is sharing big news of her own.
As Dearly previously reported, Amy’s son, Jacob Roloff, married Isabel Rock on September 7 on the famous Roloff farm. Each one of Amy and Matt Roloff’s four children said “I do” there and now Amy is getting ready to say “I do” as well.
As Dearly previously reported, Amy has been dating her boyfriend, Chris Marek, since 2016. They met shortly after her divorce to Matt was made final that same year.
Now, as Amy told People in an exclusive interview, she and Chris are ready to do forever together.

In an episode of “Little People, Big World” that aired in April, Amy revealed that despite her first ending in divorce, marriage was still very important to her:
“Even though I’m divorced, I still value and will hold up high the whole concept, the reason, the purpose that marriage is here. And if by chance I get to do that again, I would still put everything that I can, as best as I can, to make it work.”
Amy said later:
“Chris doesn’t express commitment. It’s definitely more of an indirect way, so, you know, I was pleasantly surprised that he is open to marriage. […] I’m not here to push him, I’m not here for him to do something that he is nowhere [near] ready for. But if marriage is meant to happen for me again, the second time, then I would sing ‘Hallelujah.’”

And the rest of an amazing motorcycle trip brought us to the magnificent and beautiful Crater Lake, Oregon’s only National park, covered bridges and then home. What a ride. 😎 What a wonderful guy! I wonder where next year’s ride may be? It’s unclear if Amy sang “Hallelujah” when Chris asked her to marry him on September 18 at one of their favorite restaurants, but she absolutely said “yes.” The reality star told People:
“I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled! I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.”
“I was very nervous! It had to be a heart-shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted.”
Amy, or any of her children, have yet to open up about the engagement on any of their social media pages.
Here’s to lifelong happiness, Amy and Chris.
