“19 and Counting” alum Amy Duggar King and her husband Dillion King just announced an Easter surprise to fans.
Amy, known as the rebellious Duggar cousin, told People the couple is expecting their first child due in October.
The first time mom-to-be also shared the baby news with fans on Sunday by posting a colorful picture holding up four rose-gold balloons that spell out the word “Baby.”
She captioned the photo:
BABY KING IS ON THE WAY!!! Happy Easter from our growing family to yours!!
Dillion uploaded a similar photo on his Instagram account and shared the image with the publication. The dad-to-be, who married Amy in 2015, said of fatherhood:
We are completely speechless, overly excited and ready for the next chapter as new parents!
In an interview with People the niece of “19 Kids and Counting’s” Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, said:
“We are completely speechless, overly excited and ready for the next chapter as new parents!”
“I’m over the moon about becoming a momma! I just can’t hardly wait!”
Last December, the couple admitted to “practicing” and jokingly said that kids were coming.
Dillion said he’s prepared for parenthood as much as he can but revealed during the interview that he’s slightly afraid to step into the new role. He said:
“The learning curve of being a new father is kind of terrifying, but at the same time equally astonishing.”
The couple looks forward to this new chapter as a mom and dad. However, Amy told People she’s not excited about giving up her favorite food. She explained:
“I miss Chick-fil-A. Baby King isn’t a fan of chicken.”
As reported by Dearly, three more Duggars are on the way in 2019.
Jessa Seewald Duggar is due this Spring, and her brother, Joseph Duggar, and sister-in-law, Kendra Duggar, made a baby announcement this month.
