On Monday’s episode of “Teen Mom OG,” Amber Portwood made the heartbreaking admission that she suffered a miscarriage with her ex-fiancé, Matt Baier.
The 28-year-old shared the news during a conversation with her 9-year-old daughter’s stepmom, Kristina Anderson.
Anderson and her husband Gary Shirley had also suffered a miscarriage and Portwood wanted to relate. According to People, she told Anderson:
“I never told anybody, but when I was with Matt I had a miscarriage. I didn’t have my tubes tied, but I know how that feels.”
It was an emotional moment. However, the episode may have pushed Portwood to threaten to quit the show.
I have to quit this show

Earlier in the day, Portwood teased the episode on Twitter but also said:
I can’t do this anymore… I have to quit this show.
When fans asked Portwood why she made the decision, she responded:
The heartache this show has put me through is too much to bear anymore. If I will not be shown then there’s nothing more to do. My name will not get smeared anymore. I hope everyone is resting easy with the money they’ve made off of heartache and pain that I’ve endured.
The mother of two, who welcomed a son in with boyfriend Andrew Glennon in May, also brought up the emotional conversation with Anderson.
All I wanted was for @krissyK01 is her to not feel alone and when she bravely said it on camera that really gave me strength to speak to her and let her know I understand and I am here for her. She was heart broken. I could see it in her eyes.

MTV has not commented on Portwood’s threat to leave the series, and it remains unclear if Portwood has actually quit.
