Police believe 18-month-old Leo Taylor is with his father after he was reported missing during the late hours of Sunday, December 16.

According to 9News, an Amber Alert was issued for Leo hours later on December 17. Authorities say his biological dad, 32-year-old Alejandro Taylor, has made threats towards the 18-month-old.

Alejandro also reportedly has access to a handful of firearms, which he owns.

In a press release issued by the Northglenn, Colorado Police Department, police were first notified by a woman who believed Leo was in danger.

The release read:

On December 16, 2018 at approximately 11:40 p.m. officers of the Northglenn Police Department were dispute chef to the 12200 Block of Claude Court on the report of an endangered child. A woman advised the officers that her 18-month-old child was with his father and the father had called her and threatened to harm the child. The woman said the father owns multiple firearms.

Authorities then described Alejandro and the vehicle they believe he could be traveling in with his son:

The father, Alejandro Taylor, is described as a white male 6’01” 160 pounds with a shaved head and brown eyes (photo below). The subject and the child were last known to be in a purple Chevy Spark, license plate 126YIX. The vehicle has a Green Bay {acker and gun sticker in the back window.

9News described Leo as being about two feet tall and weighing 35 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

What he was wearing at the time he went missing is unknown.

The Northglenn police also encouraged anyone who may spot Leo and Alejandro or his vehicle to not approach them, but to call for help right away:

If you see the subject or the vehicle do not approach him, he is considered armed and dangerous. Please call 911 immediately or the Northglenn Police Department at 303.450.8892.

Alejandro reportedly has ties in these surrounding areas, Northglenn, Broomfield, Aurora, and Louisville.

UPDATE [12/17/18, 11:15 a.m. EST]: The Northglenn police have arrested Alejandro Taylor.
