It’s been six months since “Dance Moms” star Abby Lee Miller turned herself in to start her sentence of a year and a day behind bars for bankruptcy fraud.

The former dance instructor allegedly had a hard time adjusting to jail life at first and was “hazed” into doing grunt work like cleaning toilets, according to earlier reports.

Her new life behind bars often led to “fits of crying,” but now it seems Miller has tried to make the best of her time in the penitentiary.

On Sunday, the former reality star posted her first update to Instagram from jail — and fans couldn’t help but notice Miller looked much thinner.

Miller, who sported a teal jumpsuit, snapped the photo alongside some friends who appeared to be visiting the “Dance Moms” star.

And fans were quick to point out Miller’s new slimmed-down appearance. Some Instagram users wrote:

She’s soooo skinny!

Look how much weight she lost.

She does look like she’s lost a lot of weight.

Look how small she is!

According to Entertainment Tonight, Miller has lost 100 pounds since entering prison 6 months ago.

The dramatic weight loss is most likely in part due to the gastric bypass surgery she underwent last April, before heading to jail for her sentence.

Miller said on Instagram that she’s been using her time in prison to “turn over a new leaf” and said she’s “feeling great.”

The reality star wrote:

My world flipped upside down when I had to enter prison. I did so with grace, the stories you read about me been a princess are untrue. I have made friends with both inmates and staff, I’ve tried to better myself, participated in anything offered to me and I am a better person for this experience.

Miller added that her release date hasn’t been confirmed, but a source told ET that she could be out of prison as soon as February.

For now, though, she said she’s “sorry for the mistakes” she’s made.
